Call of Duty: Mobile exceeds one billion downloads globally

Activision announced that Call of Duty: Mobile has exceeded one billion downloads worldwide since its launch, in conjunction with Celebrations of the game's fifth anniversary.

  • The game was released in 2019 for Android and iOS
  • It achieved 270 million downloads in its first year
  • Rumors of the game being phased out with the launch of Warzone Mobile
  • Activision confirms continued support for the game with a “strong roadmap” for content and updates

Season 10 – 5th Anniversary Update:

  • Launch date: November 6, 5pm PT
  • New Battle Royale map in Krai
  • Features of the new map:
    • Dense urban landscape at the foot of the Ural Mountains
    • One respawn per character
    • Erasable dog tags for the second elimination
    • The team needs to reach and clear the marker to bring the player back

  • Available by purchasing new passes

Despite the game's continued success, Microsoft revealed in documents submitted to the British Competition Authority that Call of Duty: Mobile will be gradually stopped with the launch of Warzone Mobile, but Activision did not directly address this revelation or set a date for the stop.
